Our flagship general-purpose humanoid platform. 18 degrees of freedom, vision-language-action policy, designed from the ground up for environments built for humans — not retrofitted for robots.
There is no shortage of humanoid demos. There is, however, a profound shortage of humanoids that can usefully complete a real workday in an unmodified environment. The brief was simple: build a robot that can walk into a warehouse, factory, or kitchen — designed for humans — and do useful work without requiring the space to be re-engineered around it.
UNIT-099 is built around a custom 18-DOF skeleton, optical-tactile end effectors, and a vision-language-action policy trained on 2.4 million simulated hours plus a curated human-demonstration corpus. The on-device inference stack runs the full perception → planning → control loop in under 12 ms. Battery life targets a real-world 8-hour shift.
Currently in limited deployment with three industrial pilot partners. Internal benchmarks show successful completion of 47/50 standardized manipulation tasks in unmodified environments — a result we believe is at or near the published state of the art. Public demonstrations begin Q3 2026.
Most of our deployments start as a conversation. Tell us about the environment, and we'll tell you whether this is the right platform — or what to build instead.
